Board Of Directors

The Board of Directors operates independently, ensuring that all decisions are made in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders, while maintaining oversight and governance across all strategic initiatives.
The Board consists of 9 members representing the shareholders: 4 members are appointed by the Hellenic Republic, 2 by the GEK TERNA Group, and 2 by GMR Airports Greece. The Chairman is jointly nominated by both the State and the private shareholders.

DIMITRA TZOURMAKLIOTOU - CHAIR OF THE BOD

She is an Associate Professor at Democritus University of Thrace, a Civil Engineer and holds a PhD from the University of Surrey, UK. She holds an MBA, a Master’s degree in Environmental Design of Cities and Buildings, and a diploma in Negotiations. She worked for six years at Impregilo S.p.A. as a project manager on major public works projects. She has served for six years as Managing Director of YTONG SA and THRAKON SA. She has participated as a specialist consultant in the design and preparation of structural studies for steel buildings and technical projects. She has extensive experience in project management, the construction of public and private projects, and PPP projects, mainly for hospital units. He has served as a member of the Boards of Directors of public and private entities (EACHA SA, DEPOS SA, and TRAM SA) and as vice-president of TRAM SA.

PANAGIOTIS PERVANAS – VICE CHAIR OF THE BOD

He is a graduate of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA, with a degree in Business Administration. He is a founding member and shareholder of “G.A. PERVANAS SECURITIES S.A.”, holder of Capital Market Commission certifications for Investment Advice and Securities and Derivatives Trading and is also vice-president and member of the Board of Directors of FIGOURMET S.A. Industrial and Commercial Food Company. In his capacity as a special unpaid advisor to the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, he has dealt with Logistics issues and other economic and technical matters related to the Ministry’s responsibilities.

MICHAEL GOURZIS – BOD MEMBER

He holds a degree in Public Works Degree D’ class, graduate of the School of Sub-Engineering of Athens. He worked as a freelance contractor – constructor of Public Works from 1969 to 1976. In 1977 he joined the construction company TERNA, participating since then in a number of large infrastructure projects as head of the construction sector, while since 2002 he is a Senior Executive and Executive Member of the Boards of Directors of TERNA S.A. and GEK TERNA S.A. From 2011 to 2023 he served as Executive Vice Chairman of GEK TERNA Group and from 2019 until 2023 he held the position of the Chairman of the Board of Directors at TERNA. He also held the position of non-executive member of TERNA ENERGY and the position of Vice Chairman of TERNA MAG S.A., a company active in the mining sector. He has participated in several Corporate Social Responsibility actions throughout Greece, covering needs for the benefit of local communities in the geographical areas where large infrastructure projects are implemented.

EMMANOUHL MOUSTAKAS – BOD MEMBER

He graduated from the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 1998. He worked as a freelancer in the design, supervision, and construction of private projects until 2003, when he began working with the Group (TERNA S.A.), initially as a construction engineer and then in project management positions. Since 2005, he has been mainly active in the energy and concessions sectors. He is the General Director of Business Development and a member of the Board of Directors of affiliated companies of the GEK TERNA Group.

SRINIVAS BOMMIDALA – BOD MEMBER

As the founding Director of the GMR Group, Srinivas Bommidala developed the first public-private partnership energy project in Chennai in 1995. Together with founder and Chairman G.M. Rao, he led the Group’s energy sector. When GMR expanded into infrastructure, as the first Director of Delhi Airport in 2006, he led its transition from a public enterprise to a public-private partnership. In 2007, he assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Urban Infrastructure and Highways sector. From 2012 to 2017, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Airports sector. During this period, GMR emerged as one of the top five companies worldwide in airport development, expanding its portfolio to include airports in Delhi, Hyderabad, Goa, Cebu & Clark (Philippines), and Crete (Greece). In early 2018, he took over the GMR Group’s energy portfolio, along with the international airports in the Philippines and Greece.

AMRESH OHRI – BOD MEMBER

He has over 23 years of experience in strategic leadership roles and is currently the CEO of GMR Greece, a member of the GMR Airports Limited group. He has contributed significantly to the development of international airport projects, successfully coordinating investment strategies for airports in Crete, Sebu, Goa, Bhogapuram, and Nagpur.

As a member of the CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) Europe Council, he actively contributes to promoting cooperation and networking between companies at an international level.

CHRYSANTHI PAPADOPOULOU – BOD MEMBER

She is a graduate of the School of Law and Economic Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Economics and Business Administration. She has more than 35 years of experience in the banking sector, having held the position of Assistant General Manager for Crete & the Dodecanese at Piraeus Bank S.A. for over 10 years, the position of Executive General Manager at Pancreta Bank S.A. for three years, and has served as Chair and executive member of the Bank’s senior committees. Due to her professional involvement and experience, she has contributed significantly to the evolution and development of Cretan entrepreneurship.

MICHAEL POUSPOURIKAS – BOD MEMBER

He is a Development Consultant, with a degree in Economics and a postgraduate specialization in Financial Information Systems from the University of Greenwich. Since 2004, he has been co-owner of the business consulting firm FM-EPICHEIRIN in Xanthi. He has served as Project Manager on many European programs supporting organizations in Greece and abroad, as well as Technical Advisor on projects, most notably the “Construction of a Clinic and Multipurpose Facility in the Katrag Area of Northern Cameroon.”

In recent years, he has been Chairman of the Management Committee of the the “Residence of Manos Hatzidakis” Multipurpose Cultural Center, which belongs to the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.

KONSTANTINOS PRIMIKIRIS – BOD MEMBER

He is a graduate of the Civil Engineering Department of the Polytechnic School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has many years of experience in the construction and operation of buildings and has worked as a site manager on major road and bridge projects in Greece and abroad. In addition, he has served as CEO of a concrete production and pumping company.
