Board Of Directors

The Board of Directors operates independently, ensuring that all decisions are made in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders, while maintaining oversight and governance across all strategic initiatives.
The Board consists of 9 members representing the shareholders: 4 members are appointed by the Hellenic Republic, 2 by the GEK TERNA Group, and 2 by GMR Airports Greece. The Chairman is jointly nominated by both the State and the private shareholders.

DIMITRA TZOURMAKLIOTOU

Dimitra Tzourmakliotou is an Associate Professor at the Democritus University of Thrace, and a Civil Engineer holding a PhD from the University of Surrey, UK. She also holds an MBA, a Master’s Degree in Environmental Planning of Cities and Buildings, as well as diploma in Negotiations. She worked for 6 years at Impregilo S.p.A. as a project manager on major public projects. She served for 6 years as CEO of YTONG Commercial & Industrial S.A and THRAKON Commercial & Industrial S.A. She has served as special consultant in the development and preparation of structural designs for steel buildings and structures. She is well experienced in project management, in the construction of public and private projects and in projects of Public and Private Sector Partnership, mainly for hospitals. She has been member of the Board of Directors in Public Legal Entities and Private Legal Entities (Unified Archaeological Sites and Redevelopments S.A., Public Company of Urbanization and Housing S.A. , TRAM S.A.), as well as vice president in TRAM S.A.

PANAGIOTIS PERVANAS

Panagiotis Pervanas was born in Athens in 1973. He studied Business Administration at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, U.S.A. He is founding member and shareholder of “ G.A. Pervanas Stock Company of Investment Services S.A and holds certifications from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission for Investment Advice and Trading in Securities and Derivatives.

He is now in charge of the Support and Derivatives sector of G.A Pervanas Stock Company of Investments Services S.A.. Moreover, he is certified Negotiator-Agent of Stock Market Transactions XETRA in Frankfurt stock market, Germany , and at the same time vice president and member of the Board of the Directors of the Industrial and Commercial Food Company, Figourmet S.A. As a Special Honorary Advisor to the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, he has been involved in logistics and other financial-technical issues relevant to the Ministry’s remit.

CHRYSANTHI PAPADOPOULOU

Chrysanthi Papadopoulou was born in Heraklion Crete. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Finance and Business Administration. She has held positions, including Assistant General Manager for Crete & Dodecanese at Piraeus Bank S.A. and, more recently, Executive General Manager at Pancretan Bank S.A. She has also carried out successfully duties as Chairwoman and executive member on Supreme Committees of the Bank. Due to her professional activities and experience, she has contributed significantly in strengthening and promoting Cretan entrepreneurship.

SRINIVAS BOMMIDALA

In 1995, Srinivas Bommidala, as a founding Director of the GMR Group, developed India’s first PPP power project in Chennai. Together with the Group’s founder and Chairman, G.M. Rao, he led the Group’s energy business. When GMR expanded into infrastructure, he served as the first Managing Director of Delhi Airport in 2006, leading its transition from a publicly owned entity to a public–private partnership. In 2007 he took over as the Chairman of Urban Infra & Highways sector. From 2012 to 2017, he served as the Chairman of Airports business. During this period, GMR emerged as one of the world’s top five airport developers, expanding its portfolio to include Delhi, Hyderabad, Goa, Cebu & Clark (Philippines) and Crete (Greece). In early 2018, Mr. Bommidala took charge of the GMR Group’s energy portfolio along with the Group’s international airports in the Philippines and Greece.

MICHAIL GOURZIS

Michalis Gourzis was born in Lefkada in 1940. He graduated in 1965 from the Faculty of Engineers of Athens. From 1969 to 1976 he worked as an independent contractor in public works. He holds a Class D diploma of the Construction Experience Registry and has been directing projects for TERNA S.A. since 1977.

EMMANOUIL MOUSTAKAS

Emmanouil Moustakas was born in Athens in 1974 and graduated from the School of Civil Engineering, NTUA in 1998. He worked as a freelance engineer in the design, supervision and construction of private projects until 2003, when he joined the GEK TERNA Group, initially as a construction engineer and later in project management roles. Since 2005 he has been mainly involved in energy and concession projects and serves as a board member of affiliated companies within the GEK TERNA Group.

AMRESH OHRI

Amresh Ohri is an accomplished professional with over 23 years of strategic leadership experience and currently serves as the CEO of GMR Greece at GMR Airports Limited. He has played a key role in the development of global airport projects, leading successful bid strategies for airports in Crete,Greece, Cebu, Philippines, Goa, Bhogapuram, and Nagpur in India.

He is a member of the CII Europe Committee, contributing to cross-border industry engagement and collaboration.

With deep expertise in airport development, commercial management, and strategic planning, Amresh has a proven track record of creating value through global partnerships. His leadership continues to drive growth and innovation in the international aviation sector.

MICHAIL POUSPOURIKAS

Michalis Pouspourikas is a Development Consultant with a degree in Economics and a Master’s in Finance – Monetary and Informatics Systems. Since 2004, he has been the co-owner of the consulting firm FM-EPIHIRIN, based in Xanthi, Greece.

He has served as Project Manager in numerous European-funded programs, supporting organizations in Greece and abroad, and as a Technical Consultant in several development projects, the most notable being the construction of a hospital and multipurpose facility in the Katrang region of Northern Cameroon.

Throughout his extensive career in EU co-financed programs, and through his long-standing presence at the European Union headquarters in Brussels, he has developed strong professional relationships with key stakeholders and collaborated with multiple European organizations.

Over the past three years, he has served as Chairman of the Management Committee of the “Residence of Manos Hatzidakis” Multipurpose Cultural Center, an architectural landmark belonging to the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, where the renowned Greek composer Manos Hatzidakis was born and spent his early childhood.
He is a father of two and he speaks English and Spanish.

KONSTANTINOS PRIMIKIRIS

Kostas Primikiris was born in Heraklion Crete. He graduated as a Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic Faculty of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has got a multi-year experience in the construction and exploitation of buildings, and has served as a worksite manager on major motorway and bridge projects in Greece and abroad. Additionally, he has held the position of CEO at a concrete production and pumping company.
